When this couple contacted me for their photography needs, they were still shopping around. I’m sure they searched a while online for a maternity and baby photographer in Toronto, and I really hoped that they would pick me out of this huge sea of Toronto area photographers!
So I invited them to come in so we could meet, they could look over products, try on clothing, and get a sense of my approach. These consultations are the perfect way for a photographer and client to get to know each other and see if they are a good fit.
As it turned out, this couple live slightly outside the city and it would be a bit hard to coordinate a visit to my Toronto studio. They are busy working professionals and I value their time so I suggested we do a virtual meeting via FaceTime! When the meeting date came, I remember answering the call at my front door so they could “come inside” with me!
I think I must have made a good impression because they went ahead and booked both sessions (thanks and love you two, E and H!)
