Summer is here and I have been taking a step back from social media and online activity in general. The warm weather is only here for a couple of months in Toronto, my son is home during the day (for some weeks, not the entire summer!), and I’m trying to connect more with friends, neighbours, and family.
This doesn’t mean that work hasn’t been happening behind the scenes – I’m still shooting, editing, printing, and emailing as usual, with a week off here and there to visit cottages and do some travelling.
We have a summer countdown in our house that’s currently showing 47 days left of summer break for my little guy who will be entering Grade 4 in the fall. Time is passing us WAAAAY too quickly! I honestly still remember his first day of Kindergarten and it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago.
Sigh.
Well, I’m popping in here to share a session that is long overdue to share (because they’ve already had their baby LOL). I’m always a few months behind when it comes to blogging. If you are a client of mine and have been wondering why I haven’t blogged your session, it’s either because it’s on the “to-do” list and is coming soon this year, you’ve indicated in your paperwork that you’d prefer me not to share (if you’ve changed your mind, let me know!), or I just honestly missed it on my list. I do apologize if it’s the third reason! It doesn’t happen often, but I do forget things sometimes! Baby brain absolutely DOES NOT go away when your child has grown and is no longer a baby. I personally believe it’s permanent 🙂
B and A, thank you for trusting me to take these absolutely STUNNING maternity portraits for you. I can’t wait to see your favourites in your album!
