When I get inquiries for Toronto family photography sessions I’m often asked to recommend an ideal time frame for them to take place.
My recommendation?

It’s not quite the end of summer, but not fully fall yet.
To me, it’s perfection. The temperatures are mild (i.e. SO MANY outfit options!) and the foliage is just starting to change colours.
This session was taken in my favourite spot – it looks different in every season and I think it was a pretty spectacular backdrop for this beautiful family’s maternity session.
My goal at every session is to not only take stunning portraits of your family, but to make the entire experience easy and fun. From your wardrobe (this mama’s gorgeous dress is from my studio wardrobe), to arranging hair and makeup, to making sure the location has flattering light and a variety of backdrop options, I will take care of all the details so that you don’t have to!
