It was one of the hottest days of the year in Toronto, but we kept the date for this outdoor cake smash session because it was this little lady’s actual birthday date! To help make the temperatures a bit more comfortable (I think it was over 40 degrees Celsius with humidity by the afternoon), we started early in the morning just before 8am – kids wake up early anyways so why not!
Her mom wanted to commemorate the day with a casual photo session in their beautiful Toronto backyard. Just the kids, dogs, and some cake. I was happy to oblige, completely sweating through my face mask and clothing but having a fantastic time as I always do with this family!
