OUTDOORS
I use a handful of preferred locations for all my outdoor sessions and they are chosen for very specific reasons: they are often secluded and quiet, have a variety of interesting areas to keep kids interested while adding variety to the finished gallery and, most importantly, they feature beautiful and flattering light. Outdoor sessions usually take place in the early morning or an hour before sunset. YOUR HOME
Home is always where we feel the most comfortable, and I encourage families with toddlers to have their session in their home so that the kids can have their own toys and easily take a break (or have a snack) when needed. If you love your decor and have worked hard to make your home a beautiful place for your family to grow, then an in-home session would be the perfect way to document this season in your family’s life. If you are concerned about the lighting in your home, don’t worry! I always bring photography lights with me to boost the light levels in areas that need it so that we will achieve the light and airy look that is consistent with my work. STUDIO SPACES
There are many beautiful studio spaces around the city that have the light and airy aesthetic that goes well with my style of work. Depending on where you are located, I can send you examples of these spaces so please get in touch (examples will be posted on this page soon)! This option is perfect if you want an indoor session that is not at your home.
